Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Our work will be shaped around your goals, your circumstances, and what you want to understand or change. Sessions are available for adults, couples, and adult families.
Individual Therapy
Individual psychotherapy offers a private space to slow down, gain perspective, and work through concerns with depth and intention. Areas of focus may include anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationships, life transitions, emotional regulation, substance use and recovery, and personal or professional growth.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy can help partners understand recurring patterns, communicate more effectively, repair disconnection, and make thoughtful decisions about the future of their relationship. Sessions are typically 90–100 minutes.
Family Therapy
I work with adult families navigating estrangement, changing family roles, difficult transitions, and communication patterns that have become painful or unproductive. The goal is to create more understanding while respecting the complexity of each relationship.

A Collaborative Process
My work is primarily relational and depth-oriented, while also drawing from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches when they are useful. We may explore longstanding patterns and the experiences that shaped them while also attending to what is happening in your relationships, your body, and your life now. Therapy is tailored to the person rather than organized around a single method.
All sessions are offered in person at my office in downtown Santa Cruz. If you are considering therapy and are unsure whether my practice is the right fit, I welcome you to schedule an initial consultation.
